Theodore Roosevelt "River of doubt"
Theodore Roosevelt
Theodore Roosevelt after a tough election suffered an embarrassing loss. After the election the summer of 1913 he took off to South America where his son, Kermit lived. They went and embarked on a journey to unmapped areas of the Brazilian jungle and headed for the Rio da Duvida “river of Doubt”. But very quickly the trip began to go dangerously wrong. Theodore had caught a very high fever, and was suffering from a very dangerous, even fatal infection from cutting his leg on a boulder. He and his men lost a lot of supplies over the span of the trip. They lost oxen and things that they needed to help them survive. After marking over 1,000 miles of the amazon jungle Theodore felt he could not travel anymore. He needed to stop his journey. His son and the rest of the men went on and he traveled back to America.

Online Safety
Anthony E. Caputo, a senior in Milan High school made a threat on faebook saying he was going to bomb a wing of the school. for that he was charged with two felonies and is still in jail. I think that posts like this should be taken seriously because you never know if its a joke or not and if it is, its dangerous. I do think he should be punushed to a point where he learned not to do things like that on the internet, but I think two felonies and jail time was a lot for something like this. So I do think the punishment is a little harsh for something like this.

technorati vs. blogger
In class we were given two blogging websites and we were tolf to compare them and see which one we liked better. And i can say that i really like the first one(blogger) better. It was so much easier to get around on and it was way less confusing and much easier to find things on it. Technorati was very difficult to follow i couldn't find anything anywhere i couldn't open or view blogs. there were alot of adds making it confusing to see what was what and where everywhere everything was.
